Join Trevor, founder and fermentation educator of Community Cultures, to dive into the world of fermented veggies. As the fresh produce starts to flow out of the garden and local farms, April is the perfect time of year to master your vegetable fermentation process!
In this workshop you'll learn why fermented veggies are the perfect gateway into fermentation and why they're globally and culturally significant. Additionally, you'll learn how to make sauerkraut, reduce food waste in your kitchen, and ferment almost any type of vegetable! Lastly, you'll learn why fermentated foods, and fermented veggies specifically, can be an important part of your diet.
No special equipment is required for this workshop; walk away with a quart of kraut and the confidence to continue your fermentation journey at home!
