Thanks to our Health and Wellness Programming Sponsor, HealthTexas, we are now offering Pickleball at Hemisfair monthly starting in August!Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, everyone is welcome to play.
Bring Your Own Paddle: While we will provide the pickleballs, bringing your own paddle is recommended.
Four Courts Available: Games will be played on a “first come, first serve” basis.
Check-In: starts 30 minutes before the event begins at the entrance to Civic Park.
Game Play:
Group Formation:
Groups of up to four can play together.
Groups of two can join other groups of two.
Singles can be used to complete games.
Game Rules:
Each game will be played to 11 points.
Volunteers will keep score and facilitate the games.
For non-competitive play, groups can be on the court for 20 minutes before transitioning to the next group in line. The previous group can get back in line or move to another court.
