A magical Two-Day Celebration on 6th & 7th DecemberThe festive season begins in style with the Pickering Christmas Festival on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December.
An Indoor Artisan Market in our wonderful arena, featuring over 90 talented traders and makers. Visitors can browse an exceptional range of handcrafted gifts, festive decorations, local produce, homeware, art, and more – perfect for those looking to shop local and find unique Christmas presents.
Outside, the festivities continue with a bustling street food court, serving seasonal treats and hot food from around the region. Families can enjoy a fantastic funfair, bringing thrill rides for all ages.
The festival's most magical highlight is the Funtime Express Land Train, running throughout both days. Hop aboard for a charming ride through the Galtres Showgrounds, taking families directly to visit Santa and his Elves in his cosy lodge, where children can meet Father Christmas and listen to a Christmas story read by the man himself. Enjoy live entertainment from Coast & County Radio and Malton White Star Band, capturing the spirit of the season.
