Our October Piccolo will see the return of singer (mezzo-soprano) Elaine Bishop and pianist Fergus Bishop, who will be bringing us a concert that will see us visiting both ocean depths and starry heavens. There will be songs about all sorts of ways of travelling the worl, from buses and cars to submarines and flying saucers. Prepare to be transported with delight!
As ever, doors open at 10am and the music starts at 10.30. Admission is £4 per adult, and £2 per child. There are free refreshments (tea/coffee/squash and biscuits) for all. Additional donations for the refreshments are welcome!
Piccolo is a monthly concert for young children, held in St John's Church in the centre of Peterborough. Each concert lasts approximately an hour; usually the last ten minutes are songs or dances that the children can join in on, with singing, actions, and an instrument from our box of unbreakable child-friendly musical instruments.
