Jialin Yao’s 2024-2025 season highlights include performances of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 (Boulder Symphony, Mercury Orchestra, Anderson Symphony); Yellow River Concerto (Beijing Symphony Orchestra); and Chopin’s Piano Concerto No.1 in E Minor, Op.11 (Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra).
Jialin Yao has garnered top honors at numerous international competitions including the Fou T’song (2024), Málaga City (2024), Seattle (2024),), Teresa Carreño Master (2023), IKOF (2023), Friuli Venezia Giulia (2022), Singapore (2021), Steinway (2019), and Shigeru Kawai (2018) International Piano Competitions. Jialin Yao earned his Master’s degree from the Juilliard School under Sergei Babayan. Currently he is continuing his studies with Maestro Babayan at SMU Meadows School of the Arts pursuing an Artist Diploma.
