About this Event
Join us for an applied education evening focused on bridging the gap between data collection and real-world decision making in performance and rehabilitation.
This session will explore how force plates and isometric testing equipment can be used not just to gather information - but to meaningfully inform practice. We will discuss why the ability to interpret and apply the data is what ultimately drives better outcomes for athletes.
Through practical examples, we will share how we use objective measures to:
- Guide rehabilitation progressions
- Structure and refine strength & conditioning programmes
- Inform return-to-performance decision making
- Assess and monitor lower limb function within high-performance environments
We have been conducting these types of Performance Profiing since 2012, with experience spanning across a range of elite sporting environments, including Premier League football, Premiership rugby, international programmes, and many other high-performance settings. These experiences shape the principles, processes, and practical insights we will share throughout the evening.
Led by Tom Farrow and Ian Taplin. Designed for physiotherapists and S&C coaches, this evening will provide insight into the processes, considerations, and practical applications that underpin effective use of testing in day-to-day practice.
Expect a professional, discussion-led environment with a focus on translating insights into actionable strategies you can apply immediately.
