About this Event
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll explore the intricate motifs of phulkari—the traditional Punjabi embroidery technique from Pakistan and India—and create your own unique piece. You’ll learn essential embroidery skills while also delving into the rich history and cultural significance of phulkari. Using warm fall colours, participants will craft a beautiful phulkari work by the end of the session.
All necessary materials will be provided, along with a take-home package that includes an embroidery hoop, needles, scissors, and threads.
* We regret that our venue is not wheelchair accessible at this time. However, we are committed to finding more accessible spaces for future events to better serve our community.
