About this Event
Join BZP Bakersfield and the Cocky Goose Club photography club for a photowalk at the historic Kern County Museum! This is a chance to connect, create, and explore photography together in community. This event is all about slowing down, seeing beauty through your lens, and building meaningful connections with fellow creatives.
Whether you’re an experienced photographer, just starting out, or simply curious, this is a safe and welcoming space to express yourself. Expect a relaxed walk around the museum grounds as we capture unique angles, textures, and moments together. We'll meet at the Kern County Museum at 2 p.m., and the walk starts at promptly 2:15 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
What to expect:
• Creative collaboration and idea sharing
• A supportive group environment to practice and learn
• Opportunities to shoot portraits, landscapes, and artistic shots
• Models and volunteers are welcome! (Great for those wanting to practice posing or portrait work)
• Bring anysafe props to enhance your photos or inspire your storytelling
The Photowalking Moai will run every Saturday through December 27. Additional locations and times will be announced soon!
