Let's start 2025 on a weird and wonderful note by strutting your [photography] stuff at the annual King Mango Strut! Partake in this colorful New Years in Miami tradition!This month’s #Photowalk305 will take place in the middle of the action, at the annual King Mango Strut in Coconut Grove.
We will first meet-greet-eat at 12:00pm at bartaco. Being that the parade is set to start outside of bartaco at the corner of Commodore Plaza and Main Highway, we will then begin our walk at around 1:45pm. The parade will conclude close to 6:00pm. There is no obligation to stay until the end.
For this photowalk, we will be delving into STREET PHOTOGRAPHY and DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY. We will be documenting the "Strutters" (participants) and bystanders — being mindful, of course, to walk outside the parade lines. Shooting in color is highly encouraged but not mandatory.
