Join us for a Cyanotype Workshop and Fundraiser where you'll dive into the intriguing history of cyanotypes and their connection to photography.
All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting our interdisciplinary photography course for secondary students Crowdfunding Project.
Through the lens of analogue photography techniques, this course aims to introduce secondary students to STEAM subjects by teaching them to view the scientific world through an artistic lens. It will provide concrete skills and nurture creativity for their future endeavors.
In this specific workshop, based on one of the lessons present in the curriculum, you'll:
- Learn about the origins and evolution of cyanotypes, and explore their role within photography.
- Learn the chemical processes to make a cyanotype print, and make your own to bring home.
- Understand the role of cyanotypes in fostering creativity among young individuals.
