Inspired by the groundbreaking photography of Oshkosh native Lewis Hine, this day-long workshop brings together local professionals who will instruct and inspire participants to create images with social, cultural or environmental impact.Using Hine’s legacy of advocacy photography as a backdrop, seasoned local photographers will present on numerous genres of photography, share decades of experiences and demonstrate techniques to help you “make the shot.”
The day will conclude with a hands-on photo shoot as local actors strike a pose in the library’s historic and architecturally striking spaces. We’ll wrap up the day with a quick look at how to include your photos in the Oshkosh Public Library’s digital archive.
