About this Event
Photography can be a great way to take notice, connect and feel better. Whether you’re a pro tog, budding photographer or have never made a photo before, why not join us at Arc for a relaxed photo walk and experience the wellbeing benefits of photography.
Each month, local artist Rae Story will guide us to focus on a prompt as we walk, talk and capture our surroundings in the heart of Stockport. She will be on hand to help get the images you want to take or discuss ideas and techniques. Meet at Arc at Hat Works at 10:30. The walk lasts about an hour before returning to the Arc cafe where the group share images and discuss their experiences. The maximum size of the group will be 20 people.

Our cafe is open from 10.00 until 16.00 on Thursdays (and Fridays), if you'd like a coffee beforehand or a toastie / soup afterwards.
The workshops are part of our Affordable Art Series. Our workshops are inclusive and supportive, providing space to grow and learn together. Whether you're an experienced artist or taking your first steps, we welcome all abilities.
As we are a charity, there is a small charge of £5 for this event. If you are unable to pay using this online platform, please pay on the day at Arc. If you want to attend and are unable to pay, please contact [email protected] and we will be happy to arrange a free ticket for you.
