About this Event
Photography 101: Camera Basics & Exposure
Led by: Trackside Staff
This introductory class covers the fundamentals of how a camera works, with a focus on exposure and understanding your tool. The session explains the exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, and ISO), how these settings affect an image, and how to recognize the limits and strengths of different cameras.
The class is designed for beginners, including new camera owners, people transitioning from phone photography, or anyone who feels unsure when switching out of auto mode. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own camera, but it’s not required.
This class serves as a foundation for future Trackside workshops and is a good starting point for anyone building confidence behind the camera.
