About this Event
Fujifilm X-half Photowalk: Small Camera, Big Creative Energy
Take the playful new Fujifilm X-half for a real-world spin on a casual photowalk through South Lake Union with the Fujifilm crew. Along the way, you’ll get hands-on guidance exploring the camera’s unique features, creative shooting modes, and fun analog-inspired experience that makes the X-half unlike anything else in the Fujifilm lineup.
Designed to feel spontaneous, lightweight, and creatively freeing, the X-half offers a fresh take on everyday photography with its compact design and distinctive shooting style. We’ll hit the streets making images together while learning how to get the most out of this unique little camera in the environments it was built for.
FREE Fujifilm X-half loaner cameras will be available for registered attendees only. Space is limited to just 20 participants to keep the experience interactive and hands-on.
CAMERA LOANERS >>
Camera checkout begins at 10:00 AM in Glazer’s 2nd Floor Classroom. Registered attendees will have the opportunity to borrow an X-half camera for use during the photowalk. Please bring a memory card and valid ID for camera checkout.
This experience is specifically designed for photographers interested in trying the Fujifilm X-half firsthand. With a limited number of loaner cameras available, we ask that attendees join with the intention of actively using and exploring the camera as part of the group experience. We’ll be learning the camera together, sharing techniques, and discovering what makes the X-half so much fun to shoot with.
If you register and can no longer attend, please release your ticket so someone else can enjoy this limited opportunity.
See you out there!
About the Fujifilm X-half
The Fujifilm X half is the perfect blend of film camera aesthetics and modern technology. The top-plate of the camera features a Frame Advance Lever – just like winding on film! On the back, a vertical sub menu shows the active Film Simulation, mimicking the film window on analog cameras; plus X half also features an optical viewfinder, which perfectly complements the upright 3:4 format rear LCD.
The Fujifilm X half is ultra-compact, everyday carry design. Featuring a 17-megapixel 1" sensor, fixed wide-angle lens, film-inspired controls, 26 analog-style film/filter looks, and a unique 2-in-1 mode that combines photos and videos into creative shareable content, it’s built for fun, storytelling, and spontaneous moments.
GREAT PRICE: Even better, the X half is now on sale, with a $100 instant rebate, PLUS an additional $50 when you join one of the photowalks or visit the Fujifilm counter during PhotoFest weekend only - making it an even more compelling time to pick one up!!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Portland, Tommy Spencer’s creative roots run deep in the skateboard and music scenes of the Pacific Northwest. Given a camera at age 11, Tommy has spent decades documenting subcultures, craftspeople, and everyday life with a distinct visual style shaped by authenticity, energy, and storytelling.
Now a Fujifilm representative, Tommy brings both technical knowledge and a documentarian’s eye to his work. Whether photographing artists, makers, or communities, his goal is simple: create visually compelling images that honestly represent the people and passions in front of the lens.
