Friday, January 16, 2026 is Folklore Friday, doors at 7pm, storytelling begins at 7:30pm. Admission is $10, KN95+ masks required & provided free! Happy New Year! Phoenix Folklore Friday will be celebrating Bears. These fantastic four-leggeds from the Ursidae family are prevalent in mythology, legends and folklore from all around the world. The archetypes that bears represent run deeply in the great River of Story. Come take a dip with Bears!
Join us for an evening of traditional stories and songs that allow for a pause to reconnect with each other, to honor the past, and to reawaken our kinship with nature. The evening commences at 7:30pm. There usually is a break between the two hours to grab a drink and a snack, unless we have some cancellations. Then we will run the session straight through.
As always, the skill of the oral storyteller will ensure that the stories are appropriate for the audience.
Wishing you all the best, Chrissy and Rachelle Dart
