Hosted by Alex Middleton from 94.5 The Buzz, this year's featured artists will be Vortxz, Astro Inn, and Astralce, and featuring DJ Mohawk Steve!
Based in Houston, Texas, Vortxz is an Indie/Latino rock band dedicated to delivering a sound that inspires hope, freedom, and self-expression. Founded by frontman Isaias “Rambo” Rodarte, the group fuses Rock en Español, indie, and alternative rock, driven by Noe Rodriguez’s melodic guitar and keys and Jonathan Lopez’s powerful drums. Known for their passionate live shows and emotive songwriting, Vortxz continues to build a loyal following in Houston’s diverse music scene.
Astro Inn is a Houston-based indie pop group known for their late-night, bump-n-grind vibes. Fusing smooth melodies with moody grooves, the band delivers a unique sound that’s perfect for after-hours listening. Rooted in the city's thriving music scene, Astro Inn continues to make waves with their sultry, slow-burn aesthetic.
Astralace is an indie-pop band from Houston, Texas, creating dreamy soundscapes filled with haunting melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Since forming in 2021, the band has released an EP and several singles, captivating audiences with their ethereal style. The lineup includes Ashley Lacy (vocals/keys), Zach Lacy (bass), Alyssia Dieringer (guitar), and Lauren Poland (drums), with new music on the horizon.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Mohawk Steve is a staple of the city’s DJ community. Known for his dynamic sets that blend genres and span decades, Steve brings infectious energy to every performance—whether spinning at a packed club or a sunny park event. His seamless mix of current hits and timeless classics, paired with his signature dance moves, makes him a crowd favorite wherever he goes.
