About this Event
Philosophy zine workshop
On June 30, we’ll gather at Cafca Cafe and we are inviting you to join us. We will work with dreams and myths as tools for navigating the unconscious and the self.
For this issue of our philosophy zine, we will reflect on and create in response to texts and myths from The Odyssey, dream material of Franz Kafka, and Carl Jung’s explorations of the psyche.
We will create collages, make drawings, and engage in creative writing inspired by the material above, as we collaboratively produce the zine.
BIOS:
Mavi's bio:
With a background in sociology, media, and visual arts, I’m expanding my practice through art therapy to explore how art making nurtures emotional expression, intuition, and healing. My work often responds to ecological forms and symbols, while I create collective spaces for curiosity, connection, and imagination, shaped by a fascination with speculative world-making.
Stella’s bio: Stella loves philosophy, literature, deep conversations and the magic of culture in all its forms.
With a background in ancient and modern Greek literature, intercultural communication and applied philosophy in the arts, her work serves as bridge between cultures and idea, sparks reflection and keeps philosophy alive and relevant.
PS: The main language spoken will be English, one drink included in the price of the ticket. Materials for creating the zine will be provided, such as painting and collage supplies.
