The projects of philosophers do not occur in a historical and cultural vacuum, and understanding the situations they were living in illuminates their philosophical projects and works. This lecture series focuses on examining the historical contexts in which thinkers like Philo of Alexandria, Meister Eckhart, Jeremy Bentham and Lou Andreas-Salomé were writing in relation to their main ideas.February 11 at 6:00 PM = Philo of Alexandria

The lecture series is presented by Greg Sadler and Andi Sciacca of ReasonIO and is recommended for adults and high school students. Each lecture will last about 60 minutes, with time for questions and answers following the lecture.
