ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Kat Siciliano, Bruce T. Carroll, Adam Monaco & Meghan Cary kick off our 2026 Philly Songwriters In The Round Spring Series at The Royal Music & Arts Center!
Kat Sicilano is a composer, vocalist, and singer-songwriter based in Philadelphia, whose music often draws inspiration from stories and folktales. Her first musical, Eve, won the “Fringie” Award for Theater at the 2023 Philly Fringe Fest, and "Best Musical" at the 2024 Tucson Fringe Fest. Kat is also a winner of the Write Out Loud Project for her song “Falling,” which can be found on the Write Out Loud Vol. 3 EP. She has also written music for the popular Philadelphia-area attractions, Adventure Aquarium and Eastern State Penitentiary, and has penned several songs for talented artists in the Philadelphia jazz community.
Bruce T. Carroll "Over the span of eight years, three albums, three singles, widespread airplay and knockout reviews, Bruce T Carroll has established himself as an Americana artist with a social conscience and a deft lyrical touch. Using irony and imagery as tools in trade, Bruce’s work has been described by No Depression Magazine as “devilishly brilliant”, “intensely brilliant”, and “a fine commentary on America’s past”. His signature songs “When Two Worlds Collide”, “Fox In The Henhouse”, and “Lift Your Head Up” continue to get good airplay worldwide, spotlighting the refugee crisis and political upheaval at home and abroad. His last full-length album First Bird To Sing was an exploration of love and loss and “a brilliant album that attacks the dark side with a TAC flashlight and hope”, solidifying Bruce’s reputation as a “singular talent”. Bruce’s newly released (Oct ’25) single “Find Your Way” began as a blessing for his children but ended as a beautiful paean for the dispossessed".
Adam Monaco’s music is lush, colorful, melodic and takes root deep in the complex, beautiful stories that connect humanity. His lyrics resonate like a conversation with an old friend: personal, profound, engaged, and thought-provoking. His authentic performances showcase his ability to evoke the full range and complexity of human emotions; in one musical moment, he can bring audiences to tears, then lift them back up with witty banter and a relatable anecdote.
Meghan Cary delivers award-winning original songs with powerful vocals and unshakable stage presence. Called a “storytelling troubadour” by Billboard Magazine, Cary inspires connection and community with music that’s earned comparisons to Melissa Etheridge and Brandi Carlile. Her anthem “River Rock” and 2025 single “Raise Your Voice” rally audiences to hope and action. A favorite at festivals like Falcon Ridge and Philadelphia Folk Fest, she’s shared stages with Joan Osborne, Chris Smither, and more. Whether performing, teaching, or speaking, Cary empowers others to embrace their stories with humor and heart. “If you can get to a Meghan Cary show—run, don’t walk.” - Time Out NY
