Full Description:
Mr. Nutterbocker likes to think of himself as a composed tenacious squirrel set on making the best out of life. Now that he’s met the squirrel of his dreams - Squirrelina - he’s ready to settle down. Will she be ready, too? Love, like the perfect recipe, needs the right ingredients. Follow Mr. Nutterbocker as he frettingly tries to grow his nut empire on his quest to win over Squirrelina’s affections. Will menacing weather, a nut-stealing raccoon, or a murderous owl get in the way of Mr. Nutterbocker’s white wedding? Guided by the Nut Wizard, and accompanied by his trusted Chipmunk friend, Mr. Nutterbocker will do whatever it takes to overcome the odds to win the hand of Squirrelina.

Featuring large scale paper mache puppets and set pieces, this All Ages, Rom-Com style show draws its inspiration from the likes of Bread and Puppet Theater and String and Shadow Puppetry. The scenes are brought to life with an incredible live original score and sound effects from the Clark Park Players: an acoustic array of instruments such as the cello, banjo and drums from the community of musicians who enliven the Clark Park Open Mic. Come join us down under the walnut tree to explore themes of love, rejection and native ecology. It is sure to be a nutty time!
