About this Event
This short lecture series explores the history of pre-modern cosmology — the study of the ordered structure of the world before the rise of modern science. The talks trace how thinkers from antiquity to the sixteenth century understood the earth, the heavens, and everything in between. They aim to challenge popular misconceptions and reveal how much less we know about ancient and medieval views of the universe than we think.
