Following a week of masterclasses and workshops with Conservatorium students, the multi-award winning trumpeter and composer will hit the stage alongside a powerhouse staff quartet and the Sydney Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra.
A leading force in global jazz education, Dizack brings his distinctive artistry from the University of North Texas, home to one of the world's most influential jazz programs. As both performer and educator, he's shaping the next generation of boundary pushing musicians.
Dizack has worked with a who's who of the global jazz community, from Eddie Palmieri to Thundercat and Kamasi Washington. He has also released 3 solo albums and has been featured on over 35 albums as a supporting member. His contribution to pianist Shai Maestro's ECM recording Human (2021) was met with global critical acclaim, and he featured as a soloist on saxophonist Remy Le Boeuf’s Assembly of Shadows, which received two Grammy nominations.
