The CU Boulder Philharmonia Orchestra presents “Homage and Reformation” featuring composers inspired and influenced by great masters, themes and ideals of the past to help light their paths forward. Villa-Lobos pays tribute to Mozart in his Sinfonietta No. 1, Mozart gives deference to Bach in the Adagio and Fugue in C minor and Mendelssohn points to Bach, Beethoven and Martin Luther himself in his Symphony No. 5, “Reformation.”The CU Boulder Philharmonia Orchestra features musicians from the College of Music performing a diverse range of repertoire for strings and full orchestra.
