Join us to hear long time presenters Alex Grinberg and Said Salomon to present "What's new in SQL Server 2025". Come see in person veteran presenters Alex and Said present the new topics for SQL Server 2025. Alex is also in the process of upgrading his Apres XML book to include the new JSON data type, and is able to share his in-depth knowledge with this topic. Looking to hang out with the speakers at the Marriott Sports bar after the meeting, if you want to have 1 on 1 networking time.
Session: What is new in SQL 2025
Description: We will have a brief review on what is new in SQL 2025. We will focus on the new data types in SQL 2025. The two new data types are JSON and Vector. The JSON data type will help with almost every interface because it is used so widely in web / cloud services. The Vector data type we will review how to use AI / LLM like ChatGPT to search for data in SQL server 2025.
Location: The new Liberty Personnel office in West Conshohocken (note that this is a new address for them if you attended a meeting there in the past - across the street).
We will have a Zoom call available for foks that will not be able to attend in person. Zoom URL will be provided the day of the meeting
