PHH Level 2: Advanced Church Safety Team Training is an intensive, hands-on training experience designed specifically for church safety teams, security volunteers, church staff, and ministry leaders who want to strengthen their ability to recognize, prevent, and respond to critical incidents within the church environment.This 8-hour course goes beyond traditional classroom instruction by utilizing a scenario-based training format. Throughout the day, students will learn critical concepts and then immediately apply those concepts in realistic scenarios designed to challenge their decision-making, communication, and response capabilities under stress.

• De-Escalation and Conflict Resolution
• Behavioral Indicators and Threat Assessment

What makes this course unique is the emphasis on realistic, church-specific scenarios. Participants will work through a variety of situations that safety teams may encounter, including medical emergencies, disruptive individuals, suspicious behavior, and active threat incidents. These scenarios provide an opportunity to apply training in a controlled environment while developing confidence and competence before facing a real-world emergency.
Every scenario is followed by a structured debrief led by experienced instructors. During these debriefs, students will discuss response options, communication challenges, policy considerations, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement.
The goal of Level 2 is not simply to teach tactics. It is to develop church safety team members who can think clearly, communicate effectively, make sound decisions, and serve their congregation with confidence during high-stress situations.
