'Phenomenal Women' with Anisha Joshi

Inspired by the poem written by Maya Angelou, ‘Phenomenal Woman’ the Gainsborough Hotel launched a series in 2018 inviting women from all backgrounds who have achieved recognition and made a significant impact in their field to share their experiences and challenges encountered in their path to success.

Our third ‘Phenomenal Women’ guest speaker for 2024 is Anisha Joshi on Thursday 7th of November.

Anisha Joshi is an award-winning multidisciplinary osteopath and clinic director. A winner of the Principal Osteopath of the Year Award, she counts household-name sports and television stars among her clients. Anisha’s expert comments have been featured in The Telegraph, and Vanity Fair and she is the resident on-screen osteopath for ITV’s This Morning. Her new book “Heal Your Back: 4 Steps to a Pain-free Life” will be published by Penguin in 2024. In a corporate setting, Anisha offers bespoke ergonomic advice, identifying hazards and preventing injury. Her suggested changes to daily habits and work environments seek to enhance staff comfort, wellbeing and productivity.

Anisha is often called upon as an expert in Osteopathy to discuss the benefits of treatment and tips to keep moving. Here she is on ITV’s This Morning.

Anisha won the Principal Osteopath of the Year award by the prestigious Institute of Osteopathy.

Anisha enjoys being able to pass on her knowledge to other osteopaths and the public about how to prevent pain and become the best version of themselves.

Having years of experience and teaching them how to prevent their pain from getting worse, Anisha decided to write her own Strong Body Plan that focuses on allowing people to take their injury into their own hands and RE:BOOT their joints and prevent further problems from arising.
