Keep McIntosh Beautiful was proud to launch Rooted & Rising: The Living Library Project on 🌎Earth Day. A hands-on, community-driven effort to transform the outdoor spaces of our beloved library.
Now it’s time for Phase 2: Community Garden & Outdoor Classroom. Takes things even further—transforming the back exterior of the library into something really special.
What’s Coming:
• Raised-bed community garden
• Outdoor classroom and gathering space with backless benches
What This Means for McIntosh:
• Students from next-door Todd Grant Elementary getting hands-on learning experiences
• McIntosh Master Gardeners hosting “Meet Me in the Garden” sessions
• A shared space where everyone can learn, grow, and connect
The possibilities here are endless—and it’s something the whole community can be part of.
