Join Athco for a June LINKS course exploring the power of color in the built environment. Discover how color influences emotion, communication, wellness, and behavior, and how intentional color selection can enhance learning, productivity, healing, and play experiences. This session will examine the psychological and functional impacts of color and why it is an essential design tool in creating meaningful spaces.

Learning Objectives:
- Attendees will learn the basics of color theory and how the development of children’s visual skills can be used to influence childhood well-being
- Attendees will learn that as children develop their preference for colors also evolves and develops
- Attendees will be able to articulate why selecting color is important using research over preference
- See the power color has in the built environment including on the playground
This course will provide 1.0 continuing education credit. Lunch will be provided.
