Húsvét, tavasz, életöröm – a Musica Sacra sorozat harmadik koncertje két olyan művet állít egymás mellé, melyekben megfürödve mindenki szebbnek látja a világot. Bach 34. kantátája eredetileg 1726 pünkösdjére íródott, de az isteni szeretetet megjelenítő személyes és mégis ünnepélyes hangzás arra ihlette Bachot, hogy a kantáta zenei anyagát később az Esküvői kantátában is felhasználja.
A Schöpfungsmesse Haydn utolsó előtti nagy misekompozíciója, amely élete végén, már világsztár korában keletkezett, az Esterházy család számára. Nevét onnan kapta, hogy egy helyen felidézte az egyik legnagyobb sikerű művét, A teremtést – és a császárné meg is jegyezte, hogy ez túl vidámmá tette a komoly mondanivalójú szövegrészt. Haydn erre csak annyit mondott, hogy ha Istenre gondol, mindig jókedve lesz.

Easter, spring and the love of life – after immersing in the two works juxtaposed in the third concert of the Musica Sacra Series, everyone will see the world in a more beautiful light: Bach’s Cantata No. 34 was initially written for Whitsun in 1724, but the personal yet solemn tone manifesting God’s love inspired the composer to use its music also in his Wedding Cantata. The Schöpfungsmesse (Creation Mass) is Haydn’s one but last grand-scale mass, which he wrote at the end of his life for the Esterházys, when he was already an international celebrity. The piece’s title comes from the fact that it evokes one of the composer’s most successful works: The Creation. The empress even noted that the music made the solemn text too jolly. Haydn's reply was "When I think of my God, my heart dances within me for joy, and then my music has to dance, too.”
