Thanks to the generosity of Keswick Theatre, join PFS/MAC on Tuesday, November 19th. Award-winning instrumental fingerstyle guitarist Bunny Barnes and soulful musician and recording artist Michael London will split the bill and perform a FREE show of exciting and uplifting acoustic guitar and vocals at the Annex (7– 8 p.m.; doors open at 6:30 p.m.) All PFS members (and potential members!) are welcome. Instrumental fingerstyle guitarist Bunny Barnes has been studying with celebrated guitarist Tommy Emmanuel since 2010. She placed 5th at the 2017 International Home of the Legends Thumbpicking Championship in the Traditional category and performed at the CAAS (Chet Atkins Appreciation Society) Convention on the Main Stage and Stage II from 2021-2024. Barnes opened three times for National Thumbpicking Award winner Muriel Anderson and has played at venues including the Sellersville Theater and the 2022 Philadelphia Folk Festival. Her first instrumental album, It Goes Like It Goes, was inducted into the National Thumbpickers' Hall of Fame as 2022 "Album of the Year!" https://www.bunnybarnes.com
Michael London is a musician and recording artist with a soulful voice and a great touch on guitar. An accomplished songwriter, Michael is adept at many guitar styles and has released five albums. He offers us a musical window into the ecstatic poems of the mystical poet Rumi, exploring our connection with the self, humanity, nature and beyond. And his original songs and expansive covers speak directly to us and get to the central themes of living with passion and true joy. He is a college Professor by day and has a PhD in Organizational Behavior. https://michaellondonmusic.com/
