Animals & Pets Art Camp offers a week of hands-on, creative artmaking inspired by the animals we love. Young artists will explore a variety of materials and techniques, including paint, fabric, paper, cardboard, and simple electronics, to create original animal-themed artwork in a studio setting.
Throughout the week, campers will engage in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed-media projects. Artists will also have the opportunity to participate in glow painting using black lights and fluorescent paints, allowing them to experiment with color, light, and visual effects in a unique way.
Artists ages 6 and up will be guided step by step as they experiment, design, and create in a supportive art studio environment. The emphasis is on creativity, artistic exploration, and developing confidence with materials and processes.
Class Cost: $225* per student per week (supplies included)
This workshop occurs from 9:00am- 1:00pm, daily, from Monday, July 6th to Friday, July 10th.

Instructor Bio
Shannon Johnson is an elementary teacher with over 30 years of classroom and summer camp experience. She is currently the science/STEAM teacher at Episcopal School of Jacksonville-Beaches Campus and has been teaching art classes for children at ABAM for several years.

Class tickets are only refundable if the refund is requested before the date of the purchased class. Tickets purchased through Eventbrite will only be refunded for the class ticket cost, minus the online processing fees due to changes in Eventbrite policies. After the class date, a credit will be issued, redeemable in store for another class.
