In Remembering Chet — Songs & Stories of Chet Baker, acclaimed Chicago vocalist Petra van Nuis joins pianist Dennis Luxion, who toured Europe with Baker as a young musician, to celebrate the music and legacy of this iconic artist.
Through personal stories and unforgettable songs associated with Baker, the group explores the sound and spirit of an era. Joining van Nuis and Luxion are three outstanding Chicago musicians: guitarist Andy Brown, bassist Dan DeLorenzo, and trumpeter Art Davis, whose deep connection to the cool jazz tradition adds an authentic voice to the evening.
