The Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare invites the public to its "Petpalooza" event Saturday, May 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Animal Welfare and Adoption Center, located at 200 W. Fairfield Drive. This event is free and open to the public.During the event, attendees will enjoy free pet adoptions, food trucks, vendors, pet resources, and more.
Free adoptions are sponsored by BISSELL Pet Foundation, with adoption fees waived on cats and dogs one year or older. Puppies will be available for $50, and kittens will be available for $25. A $15 licensing fee will be applied to all adoptions for Escambia County residents.
