The Petertide Ordinations for the Diocese of Newcastle take place around St Peter’s Day. These services mark the initiation of new deacons into the journey of priesthood and the ordination of priests.
Our soon-to-be deacons – Lydia Padfield and Katherine Vacher Day – will serve their titles in parishes across our Diocese.
The new priests – Fran Bell, Emily Emmerson-Finch, Phil Keates and Andy Morsman – who began their ordained ministry as deacons last year, will continue to serve their existing parishes as curates.
