Peterborough’s Strongest 2025, hosted by Royals Gym and in support of Peterborough Positive the city's Business Improvement District (BID). This year we are proud to offer the final qualifying event for UK’s Strongest U105kg Eliminator 2025 in association with Marc Cherry & North and South Promotions.
Have you got what it takes, to take on The Duellum!
Head referee will be 2x World Strongman Games athlete Craig Candler.
MC will be current IPL Bench Press & Deadlift World Champion, PJ Carter 💪🏼
Athletes are asked to arrive at 0900hrs to begin registration and warm up with an aim to begin lifting @1000hrs.
Trophies for top 3 in each category and Xplosive Ape tees for every athlete.

Please include in the notes your tshirt size, which competition you are entering as we run multiple competitions throughout the year and anything about yourself eg age, sporting history, occupation etc. Info to be used by MC to give background on athletes during events.
Spectators are welcome and encouraged. This event will be supported by local businesses/sports groups. Entry is FREE!
5 categories, Women, Beginners Men, Novice Men, Intermediate Men and U105kg (UK’s Strongest Man Qualifier)
Beginners category is for athletes who are first timers or who are not ready to jump to the Novice category.
Events...
Event 1:
Viking Log Walk - Head to Head. Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete as many lengths as possible. Each length counts as 1 rep. Distance is 6m drop and turn.
Women - 100kg
Beginners Men - 150kg
Novice Men - 200kg
Inters Men - 250kg
U105kg Men - 250kg
Event 2:
Truck Pull - Head to head. Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete the 25m distance. Athletes will wear upper body harness with rope attached to rear. This will be leg drive only, NO arm over arm pulling rope.
Women - 2300kg
Beginners Men - 2500kg
Novice Men - 2800kg
Inters Men - TBC
U105kg Men - TBC
Event 3:
18" Duellum Deadlift - Head to Head. Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible within the timeframe. (straps allowed, no suits) Bar height 18", Rogue Ohio bar.
Women - 130kg
Beginners Men - 180kg
Novice Men - 220kg
Inters Men - 260kg
U105kg Men - 300kg
Event 4:
Axel Press - Head to Head. Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible from the shoulder position. Athlete can drop and reset the bar if required.
Women - 60kg
Beginners Men - 80kg
Novice Men - 90kg
Inters Men - 120kg
U105kg Men - 130kg
Event 5:
Atlas Stones - Head to Head. Atlas stones on descending platforms, 1.5m - 1.1m. Athletes will have 60seconds to complete as many stones as possible.
Women - 40, 50, 65, 80, 100
Beginners Men - 40, 50, 65, 80, 100
Novice Men - 65, 80, 100, 120, 130
Inters Men - 100, 120, 130, 150, 160
U105kg Men - 100, 120, 130, 150, 160
