The 19th Annual Boatyard Beach Bash to benefit the Annapolis Maritime Museum returned on September 9, 2023! Boatyard owner, Dick Franyo is on the Board of the Annapolis Maritime Museum and had a vision for a fund/fun raiser with a Jimmy Buffett/Parrot Head theme. Dick is a Parrot Head and looked hard at the Jimmy Buffett's model of selling a lifestyle/entertainment/escapism venue when he started the Boatyard. He felt that this event could be different than other local musical fundraisers and that Parrot Heads would be enthusiastic supporters.Let yourself be whisked away to Key West as you immerse yourself in the incomparable talent of world-class musicians. Captivated as John Frinzi, accompanied by Coral Reefers Doyle Grisham, Eric Darken, Nadirah Shakoor, as well as Frinzi friends, John Patti, Aaron Scherz who will play extensive set of original Jimmy Buffett classics.
Witness the electric buzz of the Floating Collective Band, featuring Coral Reefer legacy performers, Mick Utley, Brendan Mayer, and Erin McAnally.
Experience the enchanting melodies of the Peter Mayer Band, led by Coral Reefer lead guitarist and vocalist Peter Mayer, his son, Brendan Mayer, Zeb Briskovich, and Miles Vandiver.

This event raises over $100,000 net of expenses for the Annapolis Maritime Museum. The mission of the AMM is to educate children and adults on the area's rich maritime heritage and the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay. The Education Center provides over 15,000 hours of hands-on educational programs.
