I am deeply grateful for my family, friends, and the many good people in my life. In recent months, reconnecting and spending time with those I love has been a great comfort. While ALS is progressive and unpredictable, I still find small moments of joy each day—I wake up every morning beside the one I love, with a song on my lips and a little hope in my heart.A few weeks ago, I received a kind call from David Turbenson, who reached out with sympathy and a genuine desire to help. One of his ideas became my favorite: a chance to gather, celebrate, and have some fun together.
On January 12, there will be a Pete Benefit show at the Green Room in Uptown. Doors open at 6 pm, with music and entertainment from 7–10 pm. There is no cover charge; donations are welcome but not required. Here is a link to the Go Fund Me

The night will feature Comedian Tommy Ryman, Minnesota Traditional Morris Dancers music from Farewell Milwaukee, Jacob Mullis and Amy Hager, and Kar, Obie and Waldy, along with a rare appearance by some other noisy friends in a group called HIllside.
Please mark your calendars and join us for an evening of gratitude, laughter, and good company.
