Join us for a hands-on workshop at the dog friendly cafe Boris & Horton to learn essential skills in pet first aid and CPR! Whether you're a pet parent or work with animals professionally, this event is here to prepare you for action incase of a pet emergency. In this interactive class, you'll be guided through practical first aid and techniques plus some general health care and training tips to keep furry friends safe. Topics include vital signs, CPR, choking, wounds, bites, seizures, basic safety tips, and more.

Students all recieve an included take home first aid kit, and an optional certificate of completion to add to that resume!

We're thrilled to have as our event host NYC's first dog friendly cafe and social dogs are welcome! Please support Boris and Horton with a purchase of a beverage or some of their testified tasty treats for you or your pet. They also have super cute pup supplies and bling!

The class is taught by founder of , Holly DeRito, who also rescued and saved with CPR a drowned dog from Prospect Park pond in 2019. Holly also provided first aid and care to bush fire animals in New South Whales in the bushfire crisis of 2020 and is certified as a vet assistant and in pet Reiki.

A portion of proceeds from each ticket goes to local animal welfare.
