**Pets must be leashed during the entire event**
1. Pre-Registration open through Thursday, October 3, 2024 — https://www.southelgin.com/registration, section #33611
2. On-site Registration — will open from 9:30-9:50am
3. Parade/Judging begins at approximately 10am — will march along the sidewalk on South Water St.
4. Categories: Scariest, Cutest, Funniest & Best Owner/Pet Costume
5. Awards will be given to the winner in each category — will be awarded immediately following event
6. Rules:
• Dogs must be on a leash for the parade.
• Dogs must be under the control of a participant 16 years old or older.
• All Pre-registered Dogs will check-in at the registration table.
• All contestants must be in the assigned parade area no later than 9:55am.
• Each entry is eligible for only one award.
• Dogs must be current on vaccinations.
• No aggressive dogs or dogs in heat.
