PesticidePesticide is a Ghent-based metal-punk band. Formed in 2017 in the basements of Ghent, they navigate the Belgian underground waters. In these turbulent times, Pesticide seizes the moment to consciously put several current themes on the map: anti-racism, anti-colonialism, gentrification, and anti-militarism are all explored. No stone remains unturned. Pesticide draws inspiration from pitch-black anarchism, social struggle, and the DIY movement. Melodical riffs, energetic drums, and dark guitars blend various styles. The Brussels-based band draws from contemporary acts in post-rock and doom metal, but also noise rock, hardcore and progressive music.
