Pesticide Applicator Certificate – Landscape Category
Earn your Provincial Pesticide Applicator Certification – Landscape Category through this three-day course and exam session.
This certification is required for the commercial application of pesticides in landscaped areas, including:
- Gardens
- Ornamental plantings
- Lawns and turf
Participants will receive comprehensive instruction on provincially required materials, including:
- Legislation and municipal bylaws governing pesticide use
- Product labels and legal responsibilities
- Safe handling, storage, and application practices
- Calibration and equipment calculations
- Integrated pest management principles
- Low-impact and non-chemical control methods
The first two days of the course are spent covering the required materials, while the third day includes course review, student questions, and the certification exam.
Registration Details
- BCLNA Members receive an automatic discount
- Study manuals and exam fees are included in the course cost
- Students must be in attendance for the entirety of the course
- BCLNA members may register for the exam only if writing for recertification
Agricultural Category Option
Those requiring certification in the Agriculture category may register for the Agricultural-focused course offered April 15 – 17, covering pest management in field crop and orchard production, greenhouse production, and rodent management.
Please register in the category that aligns with your work, as each certification category requires separate study materials and an exam.
Cancellation Policy
If minimum registration is not met by April 7, the course will be cancelled and registered participants will receive a full refund.
