This masterclass will give start-ups and established SMEs in a clear understanding of Intellectual Property (IP) and why it matters for day-to-day business.
IP issues such as copyright, trademarks, and patents are often overlooked until they become a problem, so this session helps you recognise potential risks early and understand how to protect the value you’re creating. Our speaker, Alan Rae, brings years of experience working with IP legislation and supporting academic and commercial organisations across Scotland. His guidance focuses on what SMEs actually need to know, helping you avoid common pitfalls and deal confidently with any issues that arise.
Throughout the masterclass, you’ll see real examples of IP challenges that affect Scottish businesses.
