About this Event
You are invited to participate in the "Perspectives on Grief: Personal and Professional" Symposium for individuals and organizations to be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 8am ā 3pm at the Dallas College Eastfield Campus, āSā Building, Room S100-101 in Mesquite, Texas. (Event 845am-3pm with check-in beginning at 8am)
There is no charge for this event. Lunch and lite breakfast will be provided. Up to 5 Free CEUs are approved by Hickory Trail Hospital.
The program includes 4 primary topics:
- Grief due to Suicide Loss
- Children's Grief
- Anticipatory Grief due to Demention
- The Practical Side of Grief (i.e. financial, legal, access to accounts, etc)
Resources from local organizations will also be available. (To request a resource table, please email [email protected]). Resource tables are located inside the conference room with representatives and attendees sitting together during presentations and interactive discussions.
