Join us on Thursday, November 15 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Greenpoint gift shop, The WonderMart, for an evening of creativity and community! With instruction from local ceramic artist, Ariella Toeman, participants will learn how to use carving tools, surface glazes, stamps and decals to embellish a pre-made ceramic mug of their choosing to create a special gift for themselves or a loved one ahead of the holiday season.
Participants will be provided with a handmade blank mug (wheel thrown by the instructor ahead of time) to embellish. Ariella will then take the finished mugs back to her studio to fire them and they will be available for pickup from The WonderMart in early December.
