About this Event

YMHP/iWerk presents the iWerk Support Group (I.S.G.)!

This is a support group for LGBTQIA+ men and/or AMAB trans and nonbinary folx ages 18-29 who need help with workforce development.

At this group, attendees will learn about their workplace rights as LGBTQIA+ workers here in New York City, crisis de-escalation in the workplace, workplace burnout, and self-care. Attendees will also have the opportunity to provide support and share advice and/or testimonials regarding their own workplace experiences, in relation to the aforementioned topics.

There will be free food and drinks, free HIV/STI rapid testing (courtesy of Project STAY/ NewYork-Presbytarian), and all attendees/registrants will receive a $20 Target gift card by the end of the group meeting (YOU MUST SPEAK WITH A BOP TEAM MEMBER INDIVIDUALLY AT SOME POINT BEFORE THE GROUP EVENT STARTS AND COMPLETE THE INTAKE PROCESS BEFORE YOU CAN RECEIVE THE GIFT CARD REWARD AT THE GROUP)!
