Create a personalized holiday mug cocoa gift basket with a vibrant, durable, full-color decoration using sublimation printing!In this two-hour workshop, we’ll learn how to use our sublimation equipment to create a customized holiday mug gift basket with full-color decoration! We’ll start by discussing sublimation printing and transfer - how it works, what it’s good for, and what the limitations are - before walking through the safety and operation of our sublimation printer and mug press. We’ll then use templates or start from scratch to design, print, and transfer personalized decorations to 11oz mugs. Finally, we'll turn those mugs into hot cocoa gift baskets that participants take home and give to loved ones. See below for some examples of mugs made in previous workshops!
Class registration includes all supplies and materials required to make one mug gift basket; materials for additional mugs are available for sale if you'd like to make more!
After this workshop, attendees should be able to create decorated or personalized mugs using our sublimation equipment. With a different template and design, the same techniques can be extended to other drinkware: larger mugs, tumblers, shot glasses, and more.
