You’re Invited! Our discussion will focus on the variety of transformation experiences reported by people whose lives can be observed to have changed radically and in perpetuity. As varied as the phenomena are, some common features may be identified. One of the most significant features is the transformed persons' radically changed perspectives of who, what, and why they are affecting every area of their lives. This self-transcendence often accompanies the experience of connection to an ultimate, transcendent reality.
Have you had transformative experience(s) that actuated major changes in the quality of your life and relationships? Are you interested in these kinds of experiences? We'd love to have you be a part of our discussion!
About Steven
Steven is an Instructor of Religious Studies and teaches World Religions at the University of Tampa. He is a Graduate and Former Instructor at the University of South Florida. In the 1990’s and early 2000’s, he also pastored a couple of very non-traditional churches. His life-long journey of healing and recovery from childhood trauma led him to study deeper concepts of identity in the major philosophies and religions and to explore the varieties of transformation experiences leading to a more peaceful and harmonious life.
