About this Event
This workshop is designed for counsellors, therapists, coaches and holistic practitioners, whose work brings them into connection with their clients mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It's a wonderful way of monitoring one's self-awareness in order to avoid the biases, blockages, blind spots and unhelpful attitudes that could adversely affect client work. The workshop will hopefully inspire participants into starting a personal journals or - if they are already keeping one - adopting more creative approaches to journaling.
We'll look at the ethos of journaling; how to get started; key elements of journaling; the four main approaches to journaling; and a wide range of creative ways of journaling. In addition, there will be a number of inspiring personal exercises and visualisations for journal entries - and some stories from well-known accessible journals and diaries.
In addition, we'll also examine the use of Grief Diaries for bereaved clients - how we can help the bereaved use a grief diary as an appropriate medium through which they can understand and address their grief.
