Build a living ecosystem that mirrors your own. A guided, nature-based reflection experience on a private lakeside preserve.
About this Event

WHAT IS A PERSONAL GLASS GARDEN?
A Personal Glass Garden is a living terrarium built through a guided reflection process — where each natural layer you place represents a dimension of your own ecosystem.
You'll build is a living, breathing, self-sustaining glass ecosystem — one that grows and changes on your desk, your shelf, or your windowsill long after you leave.
Every element has purpose. Every layer holds meaning. And the experience of building it — hands in soil, surrounded by water and land — is designed to slow you down, ground you, and help you see your own ecosystem with fresh clarity.
You'll leave The Landing with a Personal Glass Garden you made with your own hands and your own intention. It will be unlike anyone else's — because it was built from your reflection, not a template.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your experience begins the moment you arrive. The Landing is a private, lake-adjacent property on a nature preserve in Lakeland South, Auburn — 25 minutes south of Seattle, 20 minutes north of Tacoma. There are no traffic noise. Just water, land, nature and quiet.
You'll be welcomed with a short grounding walk along the preserve — an invitation to arrive fully before you begin building.
Then, you'll move through a layered building process by placing each layer with intention, building your Personal Glass Garden from the ground up.
The session closes with a brief group sharing (optional) and time to sit with your creation on the deck overlooking the lake.
Total experience: approximately 2 hours

YOUR HOST
Dr. Sabine Thomas, ND a regenerative leadership practitioner with nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of medicine, public health, and ecological intelligence. She is the founder of JSOL Studios and The Landing — a private retreat space where nature is used not as a backdrop, but as a tool for clarity, grounding, and growth.
Dr. Thomas has been featured on KING5 Seattle and recognized by King County's Best Starts for Kids for her community-designed wellness programs.
THE SETTING
The Landing sits on a quiet lake with adjacent wetland and open land. The property includes a private cottage-style house with indoor gathering space, outdoor decks with lake views, a fire pit, and a nature preserve with trail and gazebo access.
