About this Event
Helston Downs Land project team are excited to announce FREE permaculture sessions for young people this spring!
Permaculture is a way to design your life, place and work closer to the rhythms of nature. Experienced permaculture teacher and designer Klaudia van Gool will guide these sessions for young people, during which we will be exploring the fields and dreaming into what we would like to see and do on the land. The ideas and dreams of our young people will feed directly into a permaculture design process for the site.
There are two sessions; you will be able to choose which one you're attending when requesting tickets:
- 10.30am — 12.30pm
- 2.00pm — 4.00pm
These are family sessions, aimed primarily at young people of secondary school age. However, younger children in the family are welcome too.
Parents will need to remain on site. The workshop leaders will take secondary-age young people off to do various activities on the land, but there will be some nature-based activities for younger children and parents too.
